Established in Norfolk, Virginia, The Runnymede Corporation is a commercial real estate development and management firm. Runnymede manages a diverse real estate portfolio that includes class A office buildings, self storage facilities, office/warehouse, shopping centers, mixed use projects and light industrial.
Commercial real estate is the backbone of our business. We offer high-quality spaces and management that enables our tenants to thrive. We manage the properties we own, know our tenants by name, and support them to succeed.
In addition to handling the leasing of our own portfolio, our experienced in-house leasing team provides a full range of tenant representation/buyer brokerage services. We offer expertise in analyzing the market, negotiating letters of intent, and assisting with the preparation and review of lease agreements and purchase and sale agreements. We use our proprietary web-based software and our extensive experience in market to help tenants and/or purchasers calculate net effective rents, determine the true costs of a lease, analyze the lease v. purchase decision, and understand the purchase process from start to finish.
For more than forty years, Runnymede has invested in developing, owning, and managing self-storage facilities in Virginia and North Carolina. As owner/operators, we take a special interest in providing immaculate facilities, unparalleled service, and well-equipped, seasoned consultants capable of assisting with any storage inquiry.
For more than 70 years, the Fine family has served the needs of our community by working with the Virginia Beach Foundation, Virginia Beach Vision and countless other civic and non-profit organizations dedicated to improving the quality of life for our citizens. The Runnymede Corporation is guided by a commitment to public service and philanthropic contribution to the life of Hampton Roads.

Our approach to development stems from our passion and regard for our community. Our process always begins with the question of what is the highest and best use of a parcel for the long term - Our decisions are not made for today, but for generations to come. We are deeply committed to artistic excellence, community relevance, and sustainability.
