As The Runnymede Corporation’s President, Andrew Fine has been active in commercial real estate in the Hampton Roads area since 1962. He has an extensive background in business development and numerous community affiliations. He was First Citizen of Virginia Beach in 1990 and served as Co-Chairman of the Virginia Beach Labor Day Coordinating Committee. He was a Founding Director of both Commerce Bank and TowneBank, and has served on the Board and as the Rector at Eastern Virginia Medical School. Mr. Fine served as a Commissioner and Vice Chairman of the Virginia Beach Development Authority, as a Founding Director and Chairman of the Virginia Beach Foundation, a Founding Director of Virginia Beach Vision, as well as a founder and former Chairman of Cape Henry Collegiate School. He led the effort to save and restore the Dewitt cottage (now the Atlantic Wildfowl Museum), is a cofounder of Lynnhaven River NOW, and was on the Virginia Beach Green Ribbon Committee. He served The Chrysler Museum of Art as Chairman and Director, was Co-Chair of Art of Glass I and II, and served as a Board member for WHRO Public Telecommunications and the Hampton Roads Community Foundation. At present, he is the Founding Director and Chairman of Public Art, Virginia Beach Foundation and is a Chairman of the Virginia Beach ViBe, Creative District.
